Caregivers need to find a way to work together to raise their children. Working together involves negotiating roles, setting expectations, and supporting each other in the task of parenting. This is referred to as co-parenting. Co-parenting makes things more complex, but in many families, it is possible to work together to raise healthy children. This interactive and entertaining session will address a variety of topics to support your co-parenting journey while keeping your children the focus of the relationship. Presenters Ellie McCann is an educator in family resiliency with the University of Minnesota Extension Department of Family, Health and Wellbeing and a certified family life educator (CLFE). Her work focuses on improving the quality of families’ lives during times of transition, through programming for both parents and the professionals who work with them.                            Sharon Powell is an educator with the University of Minnesota Extension Department of Family, Health and Wellbeing. She develops and teaches programs for individuals and families related to building financial skills and building parenting and relational skills. Her work addresses needs at the individual, community and policy levels through research, education and outreach. She earned a master's degree in human development counseling from Vanderbilt University and a doctorate in family social science from the University of Minnesota. America/Chicago public

Registration is required. The webinar will take place on Zoom.
