Join the Minnesota 4-H video project team for an awesome summer workshop! Youth members who have experience in video creation will come together to learn from experts in the field about story development, lighting, sound, video angles and so much more.
This workshop will include four one-hour virtual sessions, a three-day in-person immersion event and a one-day film festival.
Virtual sessions
July 17, 24, 31 and Aug. 21 from 5-6 p.m.
In-person overnight session
Aug. 8 at 1 p.m. - Aug. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds
Film festival
This will be held during the Minnesota State Fair - yet to be scheduled.
Audience
Youth who have completed grades 8 and up as of June 2023.
Cost
$65 includes meals, lodging, instructor fees and all activities
Cost should not be a barrier to participation. Please check with your county/tribal program about scholarships that may be available.
Registration
Registration opens in 4-H Online on April 10 and closes on June 12.
