Keeping records is a great way to record your experiences for your projects and involvement in 4-H throughout the year. 4-H is not just learning by doing. It's learning by doing it, sharing it, understanding it, relating it and using it.
There are records for both livestock and general projects in addition to the participation records for the year.
The 4-H records are also used for rewarding project awards to the members for their record keeping. When completing records, plan to complete one participation record and a project record for each project area you were enrolled in for that year.
Cloverbuds are also encouraged to fill out the Cloverbud record form!
If you’re interested in learning more about 4-H records, contact the Extension office, and Brandi would be happy to go through things with you, a group or even your whole club.
Records will be due to the Extension office by Thursday, Oct. 5 with record judging to follow later that month.
Each club is asked to provide a representative to assist with record judging.
