In this year’s Minnesota 4-H Annual Volunteer Training titled 4-H for All Abilities: Creating Inclusive Environments for Youth with Disabilities, we want to help all 4-H clubs, groups and volunteers be prepared to create inclusive learning environments with best practices. We all have a stake in this work and the ability to positively impact the experience of all 4-H’ers, including those with disabilities.Through participating in this training, we hope that you will:Understand why working with audiences with disabilities matters.Identify best practices to support the unique needs of all youth.Discover tips and resources for working with audiences of all abilities.You can join independently or as a group watch party for the statewide webinar training that will be hosted three times:Thursday, Oct. 19, 6-7:30 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 14, 7-8:30 p.m.Wednesday, Dec. 13, 7-8:30 p.m.We hope that together we can strive to do a better job of recruiting and supporting 4-H members with all abilities so that they can find success in 4-H. In this year’s Minnesota 4-H Annual Volunteer Training titled 4-H for All Abilities: Creating Inclusive Environments for Youth with Disabilities, we want to help all 4-H clubs, groups and volunteers be prepared to create inclusive learning environments with best practices. You can join independently or as a group watch party for the statewide webinar training that will be hosted three times:

  • Thursday, Oct. 19, 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 14, 7-8:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 13, 7-8:30 p.m.

We hope that together we can strive to do a better job of recruiting and supporting 4-H members with all abilities so that they can find success in 4-H.
