The University of Minnesota Extension Beef Team and the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association will host the 2022 Minnesota Summer Tour, a fun and educational event where attendees will have the opportunity to visit the UMN St. Paul Campus and the Minnesota Zoo.
Stops on the tour:
- UMN Andrew Boss Laboratory of Meat Science: hanging carcass evaluation, cutting demos
- UMN College of Veterinary Medicine: Leatherdale Equine Center, UMN Vet School Tradeshow
- UMN Forage Research plots: 30 different forage species, research plot machinery hill
- The tour wraps up with a visit to the Minnesota Zoo where attendees will have exclusive access to the entire zoo from 4 to 8 p.m.
Check-in begins at 6 a.m. All buses will leave from the Minnesota Zoo at 7 a.m.
