- Make simple repairs using only needle and thread
- Create a pillow, quilt, comforter, curtains or other soft furnishing
- Make a video, portfolio, poster, slide presentation or notebook of your needle art
- How is yarn made? What are the different types of fibers and yarn? Show what you know in a poster or other visual display
- Make a notebook of knitting or crochet stitch swatches
- What's knitting gauge? How is it measured? Make a video or poster explaining what you know about gauge
- Create a display showing embroidery stitches, naming each stitch
