Nutrition Building Blocks for Great Trays trainer's manual

Are you a trainer who is looking for a comprehensive curriculum to:

  • Teach school foodservice staff?

  • Help foodservice staff meet the basic nutrition requirements for SNA Level 1 certification?

  • Get foodservice staff continuing education units?

If so, than the Nutrition Building Blocks for Great Trays trainer's manual is for you!

Use this manual to teach one or more of the seven modules to one or more individuals. If you teach the entire course, participants would meet the 8-hour basic nutrition requirement for SNA Level 1 certification.

This trainer's manual is web-based. Purchasing this manual gives you access to the related trainer's manual website. This website is the “one stop shop” and contains all the resources you need to teach the program. This includes:

  • Presentations with recommended scripts

  • Video clips

  • Participant handouts

Cost and registration

Accessing the trainer’s manual website costs $150.00 for a two-year time period. Materials are updated annually, and included within your two year online access period. After the two year time period, you would need to re-register and re-pay the registration fee.

After you register, you will receive a link to access the online course. You can access the online course anytime within the two year time period. The time spent on this course depends on whether you print off all the curriculum resources to review the hard copies, or review the content directly from the website.

Certification

When the online courses are made available, you will be asked to complete quizzes. After successfully completing all quizzes, you will be directed to a webpage to print off your certificate of participation. This certificate is what you need to show others for documentation of your SNA Level 1 certification.
