The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on the travel and tourism industry. One of the few bright spots, however, is outdoor recreation, which allows people to practice physical distancing while engaging in nature-based activities. Join our free webinar series to explore outdoor recreation as a recovery strategy for the industry and communities.
The Tourism Center will lead three discussions about outdoor recreation – the economic and health benefits of outdoor recreation, reaching and serving new audiences for outdoor recreation, and marketing outdoor recreation assets.
The three weekly webinars will take place on Thursdays, Oct. 1, Oct. 8 and Oct. 15. Each webinar will last 45 minutes, 11 a.m. – 11:45 a.m., Central Time.
