Winter 2023 Leadership Refresher
Emotional intelligence has received a lot of attention the last few years. It is a vital skill for leaders as they navigate a changing environment and care for both the teams they lead and themselves.
Join us as we explore aspects of emotional intelligence and find ways to use it to benefit ourselves and those around us. This series will include an asynchronous conversation on Slack for ongoing discussion and access to a recording of each day’s session.
When: February 6–10, 2023, 8:30 – 9 a.m.
Each morning, we’ll host a 30-minute session highlighting an emotional intelligence topic to refresh your current leadership expertise. Extension leadership and civic engagement educators will teach the series. Session topics include:
- Responding to the ups and downs: Using our emotions as data
- Beyond sad and glad: Building emotional literacy
- It’s more than getting along: Leading emotionally intelligent teams
- The new superpower: Understanding and practicing empathy
- EQ Live!
