Change: Loss, Opportunity and Resilience online course

This is a free online course that helps you understand change and its effects on you. When you understand how change affects you, you can respond to it in a more proactive way. This gives you more control and stability in your life.

Through this course, you will:

  • Learn about common responses to change and why it's important to move beyond viewing change only as a loss to seeing it as an opportunity.

  • Understand how you usually respond to change (reactively or proactively) and why it’s important to strive for a more proactive response.

  • Become familiar with the stages of grief cycle and how you may have experienced these stages when faced with unexpected, negative change in your own life.

  • Identify some ways (strategies), as well as related goals and actions, to build your capacity for resilience.

This course takes about an hour to complete. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate.
