Extension educator and director of 4-H STEM and science of agriculture
Michael leads the Minnesota 4-H Science of Agriculture and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs using research-based methods to create positive opportunities for youth and adults to learn and develop.
Michael focuses on program delivery, volunteer recruitment, designing and developing educational programs and curricula, collaborating to seek donors and partners and leading the science of agriculture and state STEM teams.
Michael began his work with Minnesota Extension in 2016 as a regional Extension educator supervising county 4-H program coordinators and the science of agriculture/animal science programs and educational program planning.
Previously, he was a county youth coordinator at Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
