The Koochiching County 4-H Horse Show took place at the Northern Minnesota District Fair on Friday, July 10.
There were eight riders registered in the senior, junior and novice age levels.
For each event class throughout the show, the judge assigns a ribbon placing to each rider; blue ribbon rankings translate into points.
Here are the youth who acquired the highest point totals for the day:
Sr. High Point: Cody R., Grand Champion (Ray) on Davis
Jr. High Point: Alayna C. (International Falls) on Stormy
Novice High Point: Kallee Mae M. (Ray) on Hustlers Yellow Rose
Also participating in the horse show were Alayna C. (International Falls) on Stormy, Josey M. (International Falls) on Mickey, Lyndi R. (Littlefork) on Doll, Andrew R.l. (Littlefork) on Mick, Sylvia V. (International Falls) on Payday and Maci Z. (International Falls) on Chance.
Those eligible to advance to the Minnesota 4-H State Horse Show on Sept. 17-21 are Cody R/ and Maci Z.
