4-H clover Meet the Minnesota 4-H Agriculture Ambassadors

From plants to livestock, this dedicated team of youth serve as positive representatives for agriculture and the Minnesota 4-H program. Agriculture ambassadors work as a team to promote agriculture and 4-H in a positive way. They represent a diverse group of 4-H projects and programs and are selected for a one or two-year term.

Alaina C.

I am Alania and I grew up on a farm in Aitkin where we produce quality hay and forages and raise a small herd of beef cattle and dairy goats. I am currently a freshman at South Dakota State University where I am majoring in Agricultural Education and I hope to pursue a career as a high school agriculture teacher and livestock judge.

Allison W.

My name is Allison W., and I am a senior in high school. I live in Hutchinson which is in McLeod county. In school I am active in band, choir, NHS, basketball, and FFA. I grew up on a dairy farm where we milk 45 holstein dairy cows, raise beef, and have pigs in the spring through summer to show for 4-H. I am most knowledgeable about the dairy industry and dairy projects.

Hi everyone! My name is Aly and I come from my family's dairy farm where we milk cows on robotic milking machines. I am involved in many 4-H projects, but I am very passionate about the dairy project.

Hi. My name is Bryce Blaschko and I’m from Le Sueur County. I’ve been in 4-H for more than 10 years and am a senior at TCU high school.  I raise and show meat goats with my family. I plan to go to college next fall for heavy equipment operation and maintenance.

I'm in 12th grade and active in my school's band as a trumpet player. I show horses, goats and chickens. 4-H is a great experience and may help you decide what you want to do for a career or just expand your knowledge about agriculture.

Hi! My name is Ellie. I am a 10th grader from Dodge County where I serve as a county ambassador and county secretary. I live on my family’s dairy farm and have shown dairy, rabbits, and goats. Throughout my 10 years in 4-H, I have also participated in photography, crafts/fine arts, shop, fashion review, and many more project areas.  I am so excited to serve as an agriculture ambassador!

I am currently an animal science major at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Nebraska. I've been in 4-H for 14 years participating in many events including being a State 4-H Ambassador, a State Ag. Ambassador, attending CWF and holding many local positions. Being a 4-H member and 4-H  Agriculture Ambassador has given me the opportunity to encourage younger youth to continue trying new things and discover what they enjoy about agriculture and 4-H.

My name is Jenna S. and I am a senior at Forest Lake Area High School. I've been involved in Anoka County 4-H for 13 years and the horse project for 12. I am very excited to be apart of the 4-H Agricultural Ambassador program. I have a passion for animals, cows, goats and especially horses.

Hi, my name is Kate L. and I am from Renville County. I am a freshman at South Dakota State University where I am majoring in Ag Communications with a minor in Agronomy. At college, I am a member of the Agronomy Club, Ag Communicators of Tomorrow, and Collegiate Farm Bureau. I have been an active 4-H member of the Birch Coulee 4-H Club for 14 years. As a 14-year 4-H'er, I have attended Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF), YELLO, and BLU. I have served my club as president and as a county ambassador. I have also enjoyed having the opportunity to serve as a Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador. I am involved in plant and soil sciences, crop sciences, agronomy, natural resources, gardening, and leadership. I am looking forward to promoting agriculture and being an advocate for the ag industry.

Hi, my name is Keegan L., and I live on a farm in Renville County. I have been an active member in 4-H for 11 years and I currently serve as president of the Birch Coulee 4-H Club. In addition, I am an active Renville County Ambassador and serve as the Renville County Vice-President. I have attended BLU, YELLO, and have been a regional camp counselor. I enjoy meeting other 4-H youth from across the state. I started showing sheep three years ago and I have learned a lot about livestock and showing. I also have taken general projects such as forest resources, plant and soil sciences, small grains, geology, and aerospace. As a Renville County 4-H Ambassador, I have learned a lot about leadership. On my farm, I raise laying hens and have an egg business. This gives me the opportunity to learn a lot about being responsible, by caring for their needs daily I am excited to serve as a Minnesota 4-H Agriculture Ambassador and share my excitement for all things Ag!

Hi my name is Kellie! I am from Stevens County and I show livestock as well as general projects! I live on a grain farm in West Central Minnesota.

Hi, my name is Kendra B, I am a junior in High School, and I am from Le Sueur County. I have been in 4-H for 12 years and my focus species is meat breeding goats, which I have shown in and out of 4-H for many years. I am a Le Sueur County Ambassador, Federation officer, Club officer, and I am looking forward to being an Agriculture Ambassador!

Kestlyn W.

I am Kestlyn W. and I am a member of the Coon Creek Cheerful Workers 4-H club in Lyon County where I enjoy showing cattle, giving presentations, serving as club president and serving as county ambassador. As a 14 year 4-H'er, my favorite memories are exhibiting sheep and beef cattle at the Minnesota State Fair as well as giving livestock demonstrations at the Moo Booth. Other than 4-H, I am  currently a freshman at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities studying a double major in animal science and agricultural communication and marketing.

My name is Lauren R. and I am a sophomore at Plainview-Elgin-Millville High School. I have been a part of Olmsted County 4-H for the past 10 years. I am especially involved in the dairy project including judging and quiz bowl along with the market goat project. I have also held various club and county leadership positions.

I am Lily and from the Washington County 4-H club. I joined the agricultural ambassadors to help show there is more to agriculture then just farm life. I focus on plant studies and houseplants.

Hi there! My name is Luke G. and I am from Worthington, which is in Nobles County. I have been in 4-H for five years now and I show pigs and am an ambassador for the county as well.  I grow corn and soybeans on our family farm and I have taken it as passion to learn more about crops and precision ag. On the swine side of things, I took many job shadow opportunities on how to breed and raise pigs. I started raising some pigs of my own for the fair and I learned a lot. My favorite 4-H experience was showing swine for the first time.

My name is Macy H. and I am currently a sophomore in high school. I live on a beef farm in North Central Minnesota and I am very excited to be an agriculture ambassador. I have been involved in 4-H for almost 10 years and have done multiple project areas including showing dairy and meat goats along with horses.

Hi I am Makayla M. and from Nicollet County. I am currently a junior at St. Peter High School and am involved with the county ambassador program.  I am the Nicollet County 4-H federation vice president, club treasure, and I participate in FFA, gymnastics, softball, NHS. I am also one of the county pork ambassadors where we strive to promote the pork industry. I live on a hobby farm with swine, rabbits, sheep, and I lease dairy cows.

My name is Maren and I am a senior this year. I am from Detroit Lakes which is in Becker County. This is my 7th year in 4-H and I enjoy participating in the beef and swine project areas. I believe that 4-H and agriculture offer so many opportunities. I want youth to keep going even if you don’t know if it’s for you. It might impact your life later.

Hello my name is Morgan and I’m currently a junior in high school and a part of Washington County 4-H. I love learning about animals especially horses and animal genetics and I hope to one day be a veterinarian or animal geneticist. At home I have horses, chickens, cats, a bunny, and a dog that I love to spend my free time with.

My name is Rilee K. and am currently a junior at Delano High School. I've been involved in Wright County 4-H for 10 years. I live and work on my family's farm as we grow and sell top quality hay, raise BueLingo beef cattle, and help operate our carriage ride business with our Percheron draft horses. I am very excited to be a Minnesota 4-H Agricultural Ambassador!

I am from Wright County and have been involved in 4-H for 12 years. My focus in 4-H is on the sheep project and leadership work. I also serve as a residence camp counselor and a county ambassador. 4-H has taught me self-confidence, interview skills, showmanship and being comfortable talking about myself, which are skills essential to succeed in life.
